012 A glen upon the farm of House of Muir, through which the Glencross Burn meanders after issuing from the Reservoir. The sides of the slopes at the northern extremity have recently been planted by the Edinburgh Water Company. although undistinguished by any adjective I have inserted this glen upon plan as it is known simply by "The Glen" for miles round the locality.
