A Small enclosed yard Situate close to the harbour, it is used as a place where Small Boats or vessels are built & repaired hence the name. In it is a wooden shade (shed) used as a Carpentry Sop, and furnace for boiling tar etc. It is rented by James Williamson of Meikle Sypland & is the property of the Burgh. |
