159 | Situated on a small green mound close to the farm ho: [house] of Ardnackaig are to be seen traces of one of those "forts" or "Watch towers" alluded to in Ancient Records. The walls, or this stone which composed the farm, were removed some years ago for building purposes. "On a small green hill near the Mansion of "Ardnackaig"there are some remains of a fort or watch tower.
