27. Dec. 1798. alties ,exactly considered, stood valued in cumulo in the Valuation Book as rectified in May, 1671, at 18,232m. [Merks] 6s. [shillings] 8d. [pennies]., and by various Decrees of the Commissioners, hereafter noticed under the several parishes affected thereby, the said cumulo was previous to this date reduced to 16062 merks.
3. Jan. 1799. By Decree of the Commissioners of this date, there were deducted from the Marquis of Annandale's said cumulo, and added to this parish, as under:-
The Ten Pound Land of Annan, including Seafield and Walls, at 249.6.8
The Lands and Barony of Newbie, at 993.0.0

3. Oct. 1820. The Ten Pound Land of Bonshaw and Drumbrattonrig, valuation 450 merks, divided as under :-

26. May. 1737. The Nine Merkland of Sibblebie was, by decree of the Commissioners of this date, disjoined from the Marquis of Annandale's cumulo valuation, and appointed to be here rated, per se, at 665.0.0
PARISH OF APPLEGIRTH CONTINUED.
30. Apr. 1792. The Laird of Applegirth's Lands, with Brieryshaw, and Nethercleugh, stood valued under this parish in cumulo at 2100.0.0
The Six Merkland of Millbank at 300.0.0
The Lands of Brigmuir, in the parish of Lochmaben, at 200.0.0

And the Commissioners by their decree of this date, appointed the following alterations to be made on said aggregate of 2600 merks :-
The Laird of Applegirth's Lands in this parish, exclusive of Millbank, to be here rated at 1800.0.0
And his Lands of Speddlings, Park, and Gotterby, formerly included in his said cumulo of 2100 merks, to be rated under the parish of Lochmaben, where they are situated, at 300.0.0

30. Apr. 1796. The Commissioners, by their decree of this date, disjoined the valuation of the Lands of Balgray from the Marquis of Annandale's cumulo valuation, and appointed them to be here stated, per se, at 400.0.0
6. Dec. 1798. And they, in like manner, disjoined the Forty Shilling Land of Nether Cleugh-heads from the said Marquis' cumulo, and appointed the same to be here rated,per se, at 100.0.0
27. N.B.- This decree proceeded on a petition to the Commissioners by Robert Henderson of Cleughheads, and they, without attendin thereto, on this date, by mistake again disjoined the Lands of Nether Cleughheads from said cumulo, upon a petition in name of the Earl of Hopetoun.
Also the Lands of Heuck, at 200.0.0
1799. March 7. By a similar decree of this date, the Commissioners disjoined the valuation of the lands of Howthat, Ravenscleugh, Gillenbierigg, and others, from said Marquis's cumulo valuation, and appointed then to be here rated, per se, at 575.0.0
PARISH OF CLOSEBURN.
3. Oct. 1758. The Lands of Netherlandcroft of Dalgarno, alias Crossgrip, and Cleughfoot, in this parish, were formerly included in the cumulo valuation of the Estate of Queensberry, but by decree of the Commissioners of this date, the same were disjoined form said cumulo, and appointed to be stated separately under this parish, at 100.0.0
3. Oct. 1758. The Three Clauchries, valuation 225 merks, divided as under :-
