[Trigonometrical] station called "Mark North" by Trigl. [Trigonometrical] party from it being on the farm of "Mark" the place on which is stands being known by no particular name |

[Reverend] Peter Ferguson the church is capable of accommodating 400 persons the present congregation is about 300 the site together with that of the minister house & ground belonging consists of an acre of land & is rented from the Earl of Stair at £4-0-0 per annum |
