009 This stream or Burn rises in the Moss of glengyre Parish of KirKcolm & takes its name from the different farms it runs through (example of Douloch Burn Glengyre burn etc. etc.etc. etc. [formerly] it was the meeting of four properties by Sir Andrew Agnew Lord Stair Mr. Moore of Corswall, the fourth's name I cannot obtain but probably one of the Ross family of Balsarroch part of it formed the boundary between Leswalt & KirKcolm Parishes but owing to recent enlargement of KirKcolm it ceases to form any portion of Ph. [Parish] Boundary after [Leaving] Craigoch & Polburn [Moss] it crosses the road leading from Stranraer to the newton of KirKcolm at Soleburn Bridge & falls into Lough Ryan 3 miles from Stranraer
