005 A large Stone of nearly Six Feet in height and about 4 feet in girth, its shape is irregular and its dimensions at its top nearly the same as the bottom it stands in a stone wall fence on the East side of Little Leight hill and on the fence on the West Side of the old line of road from Stranraer to Ballantrae. On the East side of this Stone there is an inscription, now So defaced that it cannot be read, and there is no tradition in the Country to define what this inscription has been.
