It is an Iron Bridge of double Span, Supported on either Side and in the Centre by massive and Substantial Stone Supports, the roadway over the Bridge is Macadamised, and the whole Structure is in the most perfect repair, This Bridge connects the County Roads leading from Lairg, Dornoch and The Mound with the County Road leading through Ross-shire, from Ardgay. to Inverness.
