081 A very prominent isolated mountain of a wedge-like form. Springing upwards almost perpendicularly, and for half its circumference completely so, it is inaccessible in all parts except at Bealach Mòr, a depression near the centre of the ridge. It is a mile and a half in length and nowhere broader at the base than half a mile. It is situated about midway between Elphin and Lochinver. Property of His Grace the Duke of Sutherland. English Meaning "Eye Mountain or Lofty Mountain"
