015.02 A school in the village of Buchlyvie, built by public subscription in 1812. The site of the house and the playground attached were given by W.C.C. Graham, Esqr. of Gartmore, proprietor of the village. The Schoolmaster receives £10 a year, which sum is raised by subscription in the neighbourhood, and a free house and garden, together with the school fees. Education afforded: - English reading, writing, and Arithmetic; French and Latin. Average attendance thirty. Unendowed.
