009.13 A large, handsome and Commodious stone Mansion three storeys high with offices attached one and two storeys, in good repair. The mansion was built in 1812 and enlarged in 1843. It was built on the sight of the old house of Broich, it then took the name of Arngomery. There is a yew tree on the East side of the house & close to it, remarkable at once for its great age & size. Its height is 35.4 Girth of trunk at the ground 14½ feet & circumference outside the branches 205 feet, and it is supposed to be from 600 to 700 years old.
