Parish of Bothkennar

This name was several times referred to the field during the examination
of Falkirk Parish which was going on when this parish was sent to O.W.O. [Old War Office]
the examiners having been given different names.
Grangemouth Railway is the correct name and the alteration
in this name book was deferred until the present time in consequence
of it and the plans being at the O.W.O. [Old War Office]
The foregoing authorities were supplied also for Grangemouth Railway.)
