066.03 A large precipitous headland on the west coast of Shetland about 25 miles south from Lerwick and 4 miles north of Sumburgh Head. The most southern point of the mainland. It is made famous by Sir Walter Scott's "Pirate" as the supposed residence of "Norna of Fitful Head."
