A small hamlet on the west bank of Rule Water & close adjoining Bedrule Bridge, it is on the estate of Wells, & consists of three dwelling houses, Saw Mill, Carpenters Shop & a Lodge, the houses are slated & in good repair, the saw Mill is built of Wood & is in very bad repair.
