008.14 Mr James Snodgrass States that his father found two urns Containing or Supposed to contain human ashes he recollects in his infancy hearing that the urns were discovered at or about where the Trig [Trigonometrical] Station now Stands.
Particular enquiry has been made but up to the present no person has been found to corroborate the Authorities Quote.

to be Roman, this point being a little more than a mile
from the place where the Romans had a station, near Paisley."
