012.14 A Substantial Stone Bridge of One Arch, Spanning the River Cart and Connecting Old Sneddon Street With South Croft Street, Was rebuilt in 1794 by Public Subscriptions Amongst the Inhabitants of the Burgh, the Town Council Subscribing £140, and the County £100 towards it. It is Supported jointly between the Burgh Road Trust, The Newtown Road Trust, and the County Bridge Trust, each Paying ⅓ of the expense for repairs; It is not recognised as a County Bridge._
