084 A small village in the district of Logiealmond situated nearly opposite to Trinity College, eleven miles and a half from Perth and about eleven from Crieff. It contains a Free Church & manse, a U.P. [United Presbyterian] church, a school supported by voluntary contributions, a post office and one public house together with a number of cottages. All the houses in the village are slated, are in good preservation
and remarkably clean. The whole village is the property of the Earl of Mansfield

084 This is the extreme north-western building in Harrietfield. It is slated and in excellent repair. According to the information given by Mr Young it is seated for 150 people. There is no resident minister at this church but a son of the Revd. Dr. [Reverend Doctor] Candlish of Edinburgh, is shortly to fill the vacancy.
