120 Applies to an object that simply presents the appearance of a green mound, but is supposed by the authorities given, and others without many doubts, to have been a Pict's dwelling. The oval shape of the mound is rather deformed on account of some of the inhabitants of the island (led (?) through curiosity to know the nature of the interior) having removed the loose stones and rubbish in several places, leaving in view in the places opened, what appears to be a circular wall some three or four feet in
thickness and inside a circle of about 38 feet in diameter, apparently filled up with the stones and rubbish that constructed the roof: This object is situated near the seashore and about an eigth of a mile northwest of Northfield also on the property of the Right Hon. the Earl of Zetland.
