[Esquire] of Vetquoy 100 In an uncultivated field, about 1/4 mile westwards of Stockan and 1/2 mile E.S.E of Kierfiold stands the object said to have been an ancient burying mound this may be confirmed with the fact that upon excavating these mounds they were: most of them found to contain some relics which prove these to have been places of interment some contain Stone Cists, containing ashes also ---- or Skeletons, in this one nothing has been discovered, the property of Mr. Stockan of Stockan
