A large and handsome Structure The front is adorned with a lofty Hexastyle portico of the corinthian order, but the greatest ornament of the building is the sculpture on the tympanum of the pediment which consists of fifteen emblematical figures of a colossal size. This banK was established in 1810 by the merchants on a similar principal with other Scottish banKs.
