[Situation] N.W. [North West] of Storrie's Alley. A plain edifice erected about 40 years ago by a congregation belonging to the secession church now United Presbyterian, and in 1847 purchased by a sect who seceded from the United Presbyterians about 10 years, and are commonly called Morrisonians. The interior of this building is well fitted up, and is sufficiently commodious for 700 sitters. The Congregation has no stated Pastor at present. This Sect is called Congregational in Oliver & Boyd's Almanack & in other published documents altho' [although] the popular name is Morrisonian. | |
