A very handsome modern building in an elaborate style of ecclesiastical architecture within the DuKe of Buccleuch's demesne, it is fitted up to afford sittings for about 250 people it is entirely the property of the DuKe of Buccleuch but is open to all comers. The performance is said to be in the puseyitical style & is rather unpopular here amongst the natives.
STEEL PARK Steel ParK A large grassy park within DalKeith House demesne, it is used for pasturage for a flocK of deer.
