[Edinburgh] and "Lauder" high road over the Tyne Water, & a deep valley, at the north end of "Pathhead" village. it consists of 5 Segment arches, springing from two revetted abutments and 4 oblong stone pairs of immense height. The object presents a very fine specimen of bridge engineering and was built at the expense of the county. it is called after the Marquis of Lothian |
