012 A tolerably sized heathy hill on the farms of Capelaw and Craigenterrie. It is near the north-east extremity of the Pentland Hills, which in this locality form a group rather than a range being divided by Logan Burn which of this runs through a very romantic but lonely valley.
A Trigl. [Trigonometrical] upon its summit called by Trig. party after the hill.
