It would be more proper, if required, to dispense with the name of the "Station", as throughout the Parish of Bothwell the name of the Bridge, & the Bridge itself are land marks referred to by everyone & Known for miles around the neighborhood, both in the Parish & beyond it. "Holytown Bridge" is not a County Bridge, The name is also used to the Engine Shed & WorKships belonging to the Cal. Co. [Caledonian Company] on the north side of the Bridge. |
