George Affleck Castle Hill]		 027 A neat house with out offices attached all of which are in good repair, It takes its name from an old fort having stood upon the adjoining hill, It is the property of David McNeillie Esqr. and is occupied by the proprietor there was an addition added to it about Forty years ago It is situated to the left of the road leading from Dumfries to Portpatric and about 2 3/4 Miles from the former mentioned town
