A tolerably sized rocky heathy hill situate on the farm of Corrafeckloch and on the west end of a range of hills (for which no name can be obtained) on its summit is a Trigl. [Trigonometrical] Station called by Trigl. [Trigonometrical] Party "Kirkfeckloch West or old"

A considerable area of hollow land on the farm of Corrafeckloch its surface is Rocky heathy & rough pasture It is situate between rising eminences (for which no name can be obtained) on the east and west and "Corrafeckloch hill" on the North. Probably this is a corruption of "Curach" - i.e. Marshy or boggy ground.
