A long belt of plantation, close to the sea shore on the farms of Balmangan and Upper Senwick. the wood of which consists of Oak Ash & Fir. It is bounded on the North by a Stone wall which divides it from "Knocktall Wood" and on the South by Balmangan Bar & Shawhole. - Near the centre of this Wood is the ruins of Senwick Church, hence the name to the Wood.

054 The ruins of considerable sized house, which is supposed to have been the residence of the Ministers of Senwick Church. It is situated a little east of the ruins of the Church and near the brink of a precipice which overhange the sea.
