William Mure Esqr.		 050 [Situation] About 1 Mile S.S.W. [South South West of the town of Kirkcudbright.
A Small Park on St Mary's Isle and Situated a little to the South of the house, it is handsomely ornamented with clumps of plantations and isolated trees etc. It possibly took its name from Elder trees grown on it at Some former period.
