[following description scored through] A large Park within the demesne of St Mary's Isle. It is handsomely ornamented with small clumps of Fir plantations. Isolated from Clumps of Thorns etc it was formerly the property of the Burgh by was exchanged for Land on the North Side of the Town And is now the property of the Earl of Selkirk.
