There is nothing to indicate the spot where it stood, and the statistical account merely mentions that it was near this farm house, that it was dedicated to St Maurice, and that, by a Pope's Bull, the place of worship for the parish was transferred in 1210 from here to Wardlaw, or Mary's hill. |
