There is one grocers shop, one public house, and one joiners shop. The inhabitants are chiefly agricultural laborers. The houses on the south side of the road leading from Cupar to Auchtermuchty are feued from Maitland Makgill Crichton Esqr. of Nether Rankeilour, and those on the North side are occupied by yearly tenants; and are the property of George Hope Esqr. of Upper Rankeilour |
