A medium sized hill on the farm of Easter Kellie, its surface consists of mountain grass land with some scattered furze. on its summit is the remains of an ancient cairn of stones, and a Trignl. [Trigonometrical] station called by the Trignl. [Trigonometrical] party Kellie Law - it is one of the number of small hills which forms a ridge of rising ground stretching from East to West nearly through the middle of the parish and called Carnbee Law, Gellands Hill, Kellie Law & Gunner Law. this or Kellie Law is 800 ft. above the level of the sea & about 3 miles distant from it.
