The remains of an old church in the village of Stenton, it Consists of a Square Tower or belfry Stile of its original height and roofed. the remainder Consists of the out walls about 5 ft high Save that of the east end which has been entirely removed the date of its erection is unknown it was used as the ph [parish] church until about 22 years ago when the present one was built it became a ruin. it is Situated within a graveyard enclosed with a Substantial Stone wall.
