013 A superior Mansion house of modern erection, situated on a projection into "Loch Lomond", Occupied by the proprietor Sir James Colquhoun of Luss Bart. [Baronet] It has attached to it a very extensive Domain of Ornamental ground and woods, tastefully laid out. A little to the north west of the house is situated the remains of an ancient stronghold of great strength, and northwards there is the ruin of a Chapel used as the burying place of the family of Colquhoun.
