A house two storeys high, slated, and in good repair, with vegetable garden, and Glebe attached, occupied by the Rev. [Reverend] Alexander Young. His stipend is 16 Chalders, half Meal, and half Barley with the right of pasturage for 44 sheep on the Kirkgill Hill, the Glebe contains 20 Acres of arable land well enclosed.

A two storey building in good repair, with belfry on the West end of it, Situated east from the Manse a short distance. It was built in 1788. Sittings for 400 average number of attendance 250 average number of Communicants 190. patron His Grace the Duke of Buccleugh.
Close by the east end of the Church stands a small Mausoleum with a dome, the family burial place of the Johnstones of Westerhall.
