This is the remains of a small Camp or Fort on the Farm of Georgefield. Situated a little to the North of the House Called the Crooks. It was defended by a ditch the East Side of which is totally destroyed. It is in a bad state of preservation but its features can easily be traced out, it is stated in the locality to be a Roman Camp.
