A considerable eminence, situated about 1/4 of a mile North off Percebyhall, on its summit, there is, distinctly observable, the remains of A "British Fort".
Note - The name of the above hill is derived from that of an old farm called Craighousesteads, now divided and called respectively North Craighousesteads & South Craighousesteads.
