016 Three upright stones which from their position would seem to be the remains of a Druidical Temple, But tradition reports that, at this place a battle had been fought by the adherents of Bruce and Baliol, in which the latter party had been beaten, and that these stones commemorate the death of John DeMobray Henry Baliol and another distinguished person.The place is well known by this name.
