The present tennants are Widow Violet Beattie or Glendinning, and her son, Archibald Glendinning - and the proprietor Miss Mary Stewart Beattie, Crieve.

A stripe of flat ground on the west side of White Esk, and extending from Tomleuchar Burn to Fingland. It is situated on the farm of Fingland and might easily be cultivated. On the east of it is the public road leading from Eskdalemuir to Edinburgh.
