046 This stream, so often described, has its source in Loch Doon, from which it escapes through the artificial rocky channels described in the Name Sheet containing Bridge of Ness. Its course through Craigs of Ness is rapid & noisy. From this magnificent glen it passes through several bridges into Bogton Loch, from which it glides smoothly past the villages of Waterside & Patna.
