045 A recently erected mansion built upon the site of an old Castle named Kilhenzie. The [materials] of the old building have been used in the construction of the new - and a simple Norman Style has been preserved. It is situated on the Summit of an abrupt green knoll. but the adjacent grounds with the exception of a few large ash trees scattered are entirely destitute of ornament.
