019 [Situation] About 17 chains N.W. [North West] of Bromhill is a Cairn situated on the summit of a hill There is no tradition in the Parish respecting it. Several Hundred cart loads of stones have been taken from it within the last 50 years for the purpose of making walls roads and drains but altho most of the stones are now removed there is no account of stone coffins, urn or anything of that sort of being found.
CAIRN [Broomhill] 019 About 10 chains N.E. [North East] of this and on the same hill is another Cairn but not so large, the stones of what are also mostly removed for the same purposes as already mentioned.
