the walls of the castle: the broad level links hemmed in by a barrier of sand hillocks,
stretching away for a couple of miles, with Fraserburgh at the far extremity. Philorth
House, towards the left, surrounded by massive woods; the broad rich valley extending
to the parish church, and shut in by the Mormond, are among the varied
and interesting features of this panorama.
