I John Wood Surveyor aforesaid do hereby Certify that upon [careful examination I find]these duties to amount to the sum of five hundred & sixty three pounds Stirling [and upon]
this present day being the eighteenth of Jany [January] 1790 I did [deliver a duplicate account]
to George Cranstoun Esq. Collector of said duties at his office
mentioned that the Charges agt [against] the several Inhabitants [were either made up]
of Returns by them to me or where they failed in
the best Information I could get of which they were [duly certified]
