Acct. [Account] of the Duties on all Servants liable to be Assessed in the Burgh of Jedburghfrom the 25th of March 1778 To the 25th March 1779

I George Ballantyne Assessor aforesaid do hereby Certify that the Servants subject in
payment of the Duty taxd by the late Act of Parliament are all mentioned and contained in
the Particular List thereof that the said Duty amounts in whole to the Sum of one Pound one
Shilling Sterling: and that upon the 27th Decr. [December] 1779 I sent by Post to James Black Collector
of the said for the Burgh aforesaid an exact Duplicate of the above Account duly examined with
the foregoing [signed] George Ballantyne
