In the Valuation Roll of 14th June 1799, John McNaught's half of Balmae, valuation of £137.10.0 ; and Dunrod's fourth of Balmae, valuation £68.15.0 , were entered under the general name of BALMAE, at a valuation of £206.5.0; and the lands of Tongcroft, valuation £15.0.0; Bank, valuation £53.15.0; and Howell, valuation £53.15.0, were entered under the general name of RAEBERRY, at a valuation of 122.10.0; but these arrangements having been irregular, and ultra vires of the commissioners, the former denominations are here restored, at the particular sums of valued rent warranted by the Records.Transcriber's notes
