The lands pertaining to Corehead were valued in cumulo at 1000 merks But by Act of the Commissioners of Supply, dated 29th August 1786, the said cumulo valuation was divided, and appointed to be stated as under, viz.
The lands of Lochhouse, Skellynell, Skellynell-hill and Coats, and Customs of Droves, Skellynell-mill, lands of Dyke, Riddlesyke and Tait's meadow, lands of Barnhill, Petersyett, Hallholm and Thornickhill, lands of Sandbed, lands of Holms, and lands of Bridgend and Threefords, all belonging to the Duke of Queensberry, at 545.0.0
And the lands of Auchencass, Nether and Middle Murthats, Tathhill, Broomlands, Bootsburn and Mosslands, all belonging to George Milligen Johnston, Esq; of Corehead, at 455.0.0
