Survey CARRIAGE AND SADDLE HORSE TAX. Burgh of Inveraray
from 5 April 1786 to 5 April 1787. By Duncan MacNuier Surveyor

I Duncan MacNuier Surveyor aforesaid Do hereby Certify that upon careful
Examination of the foregoing several rates and Duties I find they amount in whole
to Ten pounds sterling And that upon the thirtieth Day of March Jaivyt and
Eighty Seven [1787] year I Delivered to Donald Campbell Esq Collector of the Cess and of
the said Duties for the Burgh aforesaid an exact Duplicate of the above and
duely examined and compared with the foregoing which contained my Oath
that Notifications were given to the whole foregoing persons or left at their
Dwelling houses of the respective Date aforesaid And that the foregoing
Survey or Assessment was made up from the Returns made to me in
consequence thereof and from the best Information I could otherwise obtain.
