I William Hogg Surveyor of Taxes Do Hereby Certify that upon Carefull Examination
of the Foregoing Account of the Rates & Dutys on Female Servants Arrising in the County
of Haddington I find the Amount to be Sixty Pounds, One shilling & Ten pence half penny
Sterling. And that upon the 10 Decr [December] 1765 I dellivered to Mr William Wilkie Deputy Collector of
the foresaid County An Exact Duplicate of the foregoing. And Duely Compared which Contained
my oath that the Foregoing Inhabitants were Served with Requisitions of the duties aforesaid
& that the same is a Just State from the Lists & Answers now in my possession. William Hogg Surveyor.
